Angie attended the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh as a biology and pre-dental major and comes to our office with almost twenty years of business and clinical experience ranging from reception, insurance, billing and collections, dental assisting, training and management. You will typically find her at the front desk, but on occasion she dons a mask and gloves and assists Dr. Smith during your procedure.
In her free time, Angie enjoys being artistic, doing stained glass, mosaics and various DIY projects.
Julie graduated Cum Laude from Lanier Technical College in 2005 after working as a dental assistant for four years. Upon graduation she was voted by her fellow classmates and professors to receive the Hugh Friedy Golden Scaler Award, which is given once a year to the most outstanding dental hygiene student. After having her here in our office, everyone sees why Julie's skills have merited such praise. Her dedication to her patients has made her a valuable member of our practice.
Outside of the office, Julie and her husband Chris can often be found in the North Georgia Mountains, hiking, kayaking, and camping or out on the boat with family and friends.
Originally from Indiana, Kathy completed her business degree at Ball State University and began working in corporate America. In 1995, Kathy and her husband, along with their two daughters, moved to Atlanta. After working in Corporate America for many years, Kathy decided to follow her passion for helping others and went back to school for Dental Hygiene. She graduated Cum Laude in the Dental Hygiene Program from Georgia Highlands College in 2013. She loves helping people with their oral health care needs. Her motto is “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life!”
Outside of work, Kathy enjoys the outdoors, melting glass to make lamp work jewelry beads and crafting, and spending time with her family, friends and Luna, her Siberian Husky.
Erica attended Atlanta’s Advance Career Dental Assisting Program and comes to us with over a decade of experience. She will make you feel comfortable throughout your dental procedures with her infectious smile and sunny personality. Erica works very well with Dr. Smith as his chair side assistant and has been a welcome addition to our dental team.
Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, Erica enjoys going to the gym, photography, spending time with her son Jordan and traveling to her Sweet Home Alabama to visit family.
